Let's hear from some of Baxi's Apprentices, both past and present

An Apprenticeship at Baxi can indeed pave the way for a successful career! To give you a better idea, we spoke with some past and present Apprentices from our marketing team. Here’s what they had to say about their experiences and future plans.

I enjoy my degree level apprenticeship at Baxi because I get both the breadth of knowledge learned only through experience in Engineering environments, and the exceptional subject matter provided by the university of central Lancashire. I enjoy my day to day work due to the broad variety of tasks, working in almost all sectors of the site in Preston, the wide variety of tasks keep me continuously developing new skills.

Alexander Mather

Level 6 Manufacturing Engineering Apprentice

One of the biggest reasons of why I am so happy to work for Baxi is because of the high level of training on renewable energy and the transition to hydrogen. A smaller company may not be able to offer training to such a high standard. Speaking to other engineers in the business puts my mind at ease knowing that I will be future-proofing myself and pushed as high as I am willing to go with my career.

Liam Bate

Level 3 Domestic Service Engineer Apprentice

When I finished my A Levels, I was looking for an apprenticeship in a variety of companies but Baxi seemed to be the perfect place to work and the right fit for me. Everybody was very welcoming and friendly and always really helpful with answers to all sorts of questions. I think I have the best of both worlds – being fully sponsored to gain a degree in my chosen subject alongside practical work experience. I am enjoying moving around the R&D department, learning a range of tasks, with good variety.

Aisha Siddique
